The Security Camera Registry is a new initiative this year by the Saskatoon Police Service! It is a completely voluntary program where community members (individuals or businesses) can register their security camera(s) with the Saskatoon Police Service. If you have one or more security cameras please consider registering them as it will enable SPS to more efficiently and effectively investigate crime in our area and could ultimately help provide valuable information or evidence for their investigations, potentially leading to convictions and make our community safer. By registering your camera, it does not give SPS access to your video, it only lets them know you have a camera from which they may be able to request footage if there is a crime they are investigating in your area. It is voluntary for you to provide footage and you may choose to do so, or decline.
