Community Attractions

Caswell Hill is an appealing community with many local attractions. There is a public elementary school, a public high school, and a post-secondary school (Caswell Community School, Bedford Road Collegiate, and Saskatchewan Polytechnic, Saskatoon Campus, respectively) in or just across the street from neighbourhood boundaries. The Mayfair Branch of the Saskatoon Public Library is just across 33rd Street as well.

Our oval-shaped neighbourhood park, Ashworth Holmes, is used year round by residents who enjoy the playground, walking, running, playing soccer and other sports, lawn bowling, and cross country skiing. In the summer the City of Saskatoon operates the playground program and paddling pool in the park.

For recreation and leisure the neighbourhood also features both indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Harry Bailey Aquatic Centre features an indoor 50 metre, 8 lane pool with diving boards and a 25 metre leisure pool, as well as hot tubs, sauna, fitness/weight room, and meeting room. The neighbourhood’s outdoor pool, Mayfair Pool was recently rebuilt with a waterslide feature.

Many shops and restaurants line the borders and interior of our neighbourhood. 33rd Street West has a vibrant shopping district with local small businesses and restaurants.
